Msty Go is the closest thing to Henchman: an app that runs AI on your own computer and lets you reach it from your chat apps. The differences are in who each one is for.
Msty Go is a toolkit for running agents
Msty Go, formerly Msty Claw, is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. You set up agents with their own workspace, permissions and routing, then add playbooks, tasks and rules for automation. It uses local models through a model service like Ollama, or cloud providers you connect, and it reaches Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp. It’s free while in beta.
Henchman is a crew you talk to
Henchman is a Mac app built around characters. You hire henchmen with names, faces and personalities, and they share a profile of you, show answers as cards and take voice calls on your Mac. The thinking happens on your Mac with open models you add, and you can text the crew from Telegram, Discord or Slack direct messages while your Mac is awake.
Which one fits
If you want WhatsApp, other platforms or detailed automation, Msty Go gives you more to work with. If you want a friendly crew on your Mac, Henchman is the one.
